We understand that maintaining good oral health and function can be a significant challenge and financial investment, particularly with age. The dental CT scan that is being ordered for you, is likely only a very small portion of the overall dental fees that you will incur throughout the course of your lifetime. The fee for services is dependent upon what type of study is being ordered.
Most dental insurances either do not provide benefit for dental CT scanning or, in very few instances, may provide a very limited allowance under only specific circumstances. Because ADI provides dental CT scanning services which are usually ordered by a dental practitioner, medical insurances also do not provide coverage. Fees, payment options (including the possible use of HSA/Flex spending accounts), and dental insurance benefits are always discussed at the time your appointment is scheduled; so you will know exactly what to expect from a financial perspective, without any surprises.
