How We Can Help Whether your practice is looking to outsource some of your craniofacial imaging activity or have a fundamental need for more accurate images on a case-by-case basis, ADI will assist you. Volumetric CT scanning evaluations are available to support your treatment planning. We offer the following services:
Panoramic Studies These studies reveal far more detailed and obscure anatomical elements than more traditional radiological tools, especially those for dentistry. Panoramic studies are used for many treatment evaluations including: TMJ, sinus, root alignment, and jaw function.
|
|
Implant studies These studies are used to determine placement of implants including the most appropriate implant type and angulation, as well as bone density and depth measurements. They are also used to determine if sinus lift or bone grafting is appropriate in areas of questionably insufficient bone.

TMJ Studies These studies are ideal for patients that are suffering from TMD symptoms as well as those that require an updated view of the region later on in their treatment. Three dimensional views of the condyles, joint space and jaw function are included. Studies consist of coronal, sagittal and axial views of the temporomandibular joint and related areas.

|
Impaction Studies These studies are ideal for determining tooth orientation within the alveolar bone, and in relation to adjacent teeth, the nerve canal, sinus walls and cortical plates. Axial, sagittal and coronal views of the region of interest are included and may be limited to the mandible and/or maxilla.
Pathology Studies These studies are used to identify lesions and other pathological anomalies. Axial, sagittal and coronal views are included.
|
|
Sinus & Airway Studies These studies enhance sinus and airway assessments and are ideal for identifying polyp and constricted airways. Axial, sagittal and coronal views of the maxillary sinus area and/or airway are included.

Endodontic Studies These studies will support the identification of root canal relationships and root fractures.
3-D Rendering 3-D renderings are available with all of our studies. These renderings provide a multi-dimensional reconstruction of the image and allow for a more holistic interpretation of the anatomy.
Bone Density Studies Bone density can be determined in Hounsfield Units (HU) with any of our studies. The identified regions of interest will be labeled with the HU measurement directly onto the image for accurate identification and interpretation.
Cervical Spine Studies These studies are used to identify spinal deformities and asymmetries. Axial, sagittal and coronal views are included.
Diagnostic Image Accessibility and Interpretation Images are promptly available for referring practitioner interpretation. View the images from a printout, upload electronically from a CD or download via e-mail. In the future we will be converting to a Picture Archiving and Communications System (PACS) for instant on-line access to images 24 hours a day. PACS will allow referring practitioners to electronically manage and access their patients’ diagnostic images securely and efficiently.
Image Manipulation Images can be manipulated with the use of viewing software that is DICOM compatible. There are many viewing software options, please contact ADI to determine what software solution is best suited to you. Using viewing software typically allows practitioners to sine through the image and markup the study with annotations including Hounsfield Unit measurements. This option is ideal for those referring practitioners who want to take full advantage of image manipulation while working with a high resolution image.
Radiologist Report & Consultative Services Additional interpretation and reporting is available, by request, for those cases when a second professional opinion or a radiologist report is needed.
